Wee Forest FolkWee Forest Folk collection is based on adorable woodland creatures depicting people's daily activities in a satirical and fun manner. Created by Annette Petersen 30 years ago, formation of the Wee Forest Folk has grown into a family affair involving Annette and her three children Willy, Donna and Jenny, to the good number of people in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

Annette, and her children's creation sends out messages that are easily understood. Celebrating different seasons, occasions, and holidays as well as daily activities of everyday life Love and caring are always symbolized as metaphors in each sculpture: Celebrate the dawning of a great country during the Boston Tea Party with the Wee Forest Folk Jolly Tar Sailors collection.

Since Christmas is just around the corner, Wee Forest Folk is not left behind each holiday theme, especially on Christmas. Their collection of Wee Forest Folk Christmas figures are showcased in brightly designed sculptures. One of their Christmas collection is the Wee Forest Folk Christmas Carol. This collection is derived from the characters of the magical story of how a selfish, grumpy old man who hated Christmas so much becomes a generous and kind person after being visited by the three ghosts of Christmas. Characters include: "Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim" and of course, "Scrooge."

Wee Forest Folk Alice in Wonderland-revisit the timeless tale of Alice in Wonderland when Wee Forest Folk portray its popular characters. “Alice”, “The Cheshire Cat on Wall”, “The Mad Hatter”, and “Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.”

Like all other artists that are just beginning, Annette sculpted her original mouse out of bread dough, which was ironically nibbled by a real mouse. Today’s molding methods for each piece have evolved to add strength and last longer. All of our sculptors and painters give out their best by giving careful time and patience to give life to every Wee Forest Folk figurine becoming an art form as it is.
